This elegant valetbox is made from African sapele pomelle. The sides are joined by wenge dovetail splines . The top is a sunburst parquetry panel of macassar ebony in a wengde frame with a matching border inlay. The lift tab is ebony.
All the woods used have their natural finish. Bottom lined with suede espresso pigskin. The lid is hinged by solid brass Brusso JB-103 hinges.
The box has a hand rubbed Odie’s Oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
No stains or dyes are used. Each box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
They are: sapele; wenge; macassar ebony, and ebony.
