The mitered corners are reinforced with internal bloodwood "butterfly" splines.
The stunning figure of the Brazilian rosewood veneer lid is given greater depth by the contrast to the quarter sawn wenge frame and the solid cocobolo matched knobs.
No stains are used. This is the natural color of the woods.
The tray and dividers are made of maple sapele, ebony and cocobolo..
This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
