The gently curved sides give this lovely Tiger maple jewelry box a unique look and feel. The snakewood legs are mortised into the mitered corners. The mitered corners are reinforced with internal rosewood "butterfly" splines. The stunning figure of the cluster walnut burl veneer lid is given greater depth by the sapele frame and the snakewood border inlays and solid snakewood knobs. No stains are used. This is the natural color of the woods. The tray and dividers are made of sapele, snakewood and ebony. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished with special oils and waxes and hand rubbed to a high luster.
