The gently curved sides give this rigured ash jewelry box a unique look and feel. The walnut legs are mortised into the mitered corners. The mitered corners are reinforced with internal ebony "butterfly" splines. The stunning figure of the book matched walnut burl veneer lid is given greater depth by the walnut frame and the ebony and tamarind border inlays. No stains are used. This is the natural color of the woods. The tray and dividers are made of cherry, zebrawood and ebony. This box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom. This beautiful one-of-a-kind box is finished with special oils and waxes and hand rubbed to a high luster.
