JB-1213 Jewelry Box

This gorgeous  Jewelry box is created from African sapele pomelle.The body is joined by Gabon ebony “butterfly” splines at the mitered corners. This box features hand carved Gabon ebony legs mortised into the mitered corners.

The lid is a 4 way book matched walnut burl veneered panel framed in wenge with a walnut and  maple inlay banding. The lift tab is Gabon ebony. The tray and bottom divider are made from cherry, curly maple and sapele pomelle. The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
No stains or dyes are used. Each box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
