MV-1151 VALET BOX

This handsome valet box is made from African sapele pomelle. The sides are joined by wenge dovetail splines . The top is a veneered panel of a 4 way book matched walnut burl. in a wenge frame with a sapele pomelle, purpleheart and maple border inlay. The lift tab is wenge. The box bottom is lined with espresso pigskin. The lid is attached with solid brass “Brusso” https://www.brusso.com/jb-103-stop-hinge/ hinges.

The box has a hand rubbed Osmo ® polyx-oil finish, a combination of vegetable oils and waxes.
No stains or dyes are used. Each box is signed and all the woods used are listed on the bottom.
